The Government of Andhra Pradesh on 26 August, 2021 has amended the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion For Non-Agricultural Purposes) Rules, 2018. The amendment provides that when an application for conversion of an Agricultural land into Non-Agricultural land in revenue records is received, the Tahasildar shall conduct a full enquiry through revenue officers before deciding on the application. The new certificate of ownership shall be issued after the application is approved and requisite fee is provided.
