The Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide notification dated 30th January 2020, directs the provisions of section 460 of the Companies Act, 2013 relating to Condonation of Delay shall apply to a limited liability partnership.
Section 460 deals with Applications if any, which ought to be filed before the central government under this Act in respect of any matter, if it is not made within the time specified therein, the Government may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, condone the delay and where any document which is required to be filed with the Registrar is not filed within the time specified therein, the Central Government may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, condone the delay.
Going forward, the above provision shall be applicable to limited liability partnership with effect from 30th January 2020.
