NMC Warns Against Fake Letter on CPS Diploma Course

The National Medical Commission (NMC) issued a notice warning the public against a fake letter on the CPS Diploma Course. This letter has been allegedly issued under the signature of the Under Secretary of Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB). The NMC has categorically stated that the said letter is fake. The PGMEB has not issued any such letter dated May 29, 2023.

NMC Issues Strict Guidelines for Medical Colleges’ Faculty Attendance

All medical colleges have been informed to adhere to the UG-MSR 2023 and MSMER 2023 guidelines. Failure to comply with these standards or any deficiencies will result in the rejection of proposals for seat increases, renewal of permissions, recognition of MBBS degrees, and continuation of recognition. Such colleges will not be permitted to admit students for the Academic Year 2024-25. The NMC has also issued a list of colleges and institutions reflecting attendance deficiencies.
