Ministry of Civil Aviation publishes (Draft) Drone Rules, 2021.
As per the draft rules, the number of forms to be filled to seek authorisation before operating a drone has been reduced from 25 to six and operating drones without a unique identification number will not be allowed, unless exempted.

The Central Motor Vehicles (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2021.
Through this draft amendment the compatibility of vehicle to level of ethanol blend of E12 or E15 or E20 or E85 or E100 shall be defined by the vehicle manufacturer and the same shall be displayed on vehicle by putting a clearly visible sticker.
The Central Government extends implementation of (FAME India Phase II)
The scheme was proposed to be implemented over a period of 3 years, w.e.f 1st April 2019, for faster adoption of electric mobility and development of its manufacturing eco-system in the country”. Now it is decided that FAME India Phase II
scheme is extended for a period of two (2) years i.e. up to 31st March 2024.
Central Motor Vehicles (Fourteenth Amendment) Rules, 2021
The amendment provides that in case motor vehicle of category N2 or N3 is engaged to carry indivisible loads, the overall height of the motor vehicle shall not exceed 4.75 meters.
Draft Central Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2021
The amendment provides that emissions (g/kWh) shall be measured over applicable emission limit for Non-Road Steady Cycle (NRSC) and Non-Road Transient Cycle (NRTC) test cycle. composite weighted emissions shall be computed by weighing the cold start results 10 per cent. and the hot start results 90 per cent.
Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2021
The amendment provides that no motor vehicle other than the vehicle used by dignitaries or officers authorized by the Central Government or Government of Himachal Pradesh to use distinctive flags, shall display such flags or flag rods.
MoRTH extends the Validity of Documents Related to Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 till 30th September 2021.
The Ministry has advised the enforcement authorities that the validity of Fitness, Permit (all types), License, Registration, or any other concerned document(s) may be treated to be valid till 30th September 2021.
