The Central Board of Direct Taxes on 26th September 2019 in its statement released in a tweet, has extended the deadline for filing of ITRs and Tax audit Report. Based on the consideration of representations received from across the country, extension has been given till 31st October, 2019.
This category of ITR is to be filed by entities assessed under section 44AB of the Income Tax Act such as companies, partnership firms, proprietorship among others which require auditing of their accounts before filing.
CBDT is yet to release the Formal notification regarding the same.
