The Central Board of Direct Taxes vide its notification dated 27th February 2021 has extended various limitation dates.
The Date for passing of penalty order extended to 30th June, 2021 and 29th June 2021 shall be the end date of the period during which the time limit specified in or prescribed or notified under the Income-tax Act falls, for the completion of such action.
The Time limit for completion of assessment or reassessment shall expires on 31st March 2021 due to its extension by the said notification, such time limit shall stand extended to the 30th day of April, 2021.
Further 30th June 2021 shall be the end date of the period during which the time limit specified in or prescribed or notified under the Benami Act falls, for the completion of such action; and 30th September, 2021 shall be the end date to which the time limit for completion of such action shall stand extended.
