The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs vide notification dated 3rd February, 2020, has extended the time limit for furnishing of annual return or reconciliation statement in FORM GSTR-9 or FORM GSTR-9C pertaining to Financial Year 2017-18 in a staggered manner for different groups of states against the earlier due date of 31st day of January, 2020.
The new due dates for Chandigarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand is now February 5, 2020.
The states of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Dadra, Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, West Bengal and Other Territories will have to now file by February 7, 2020.
