Reminder on Visitor Protocols
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has issued a fresh reminder to all stakeholders and staff regarding the conduct and movement of visitors within its CDSCO building. The new notice, dated July 25, 2025, reiterates that it is the responsibility of officials to ensure that visitors exit the premises promptly after their meeting and do not disrupt office operations.
This directive follows continued instances of visitors roaming beyond their designated areas after obtaining entry passes, leading to disruptions in regular office functioning. Officials who authorize such entries will now be held accountable if the visitor fails to comply with the intended purpose or overstays in the premises.
According to the notice:
- Visitor passes are valid only for the official named on the pass.
- Visitors must not meet other officials without prior authorization.
- All stakeholders are urged to strictly follow these guidelines for effective and disturbance-free public dealings.
