The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has decided to update the number of batches of cough syrups it receives at different labs on its website. A notification to this effect was issued on 13th June, 2023.
CDSCO will publish this information in respect of samples received in each of the Central/ State Drug Testing Laboratories. This information will be published daily on the CDSCO website.
This measure is intended to foster work distribution among the labs and release of test reports in a timely manner. Hence, drug manufacturers/ exporters can view this information and submit their samples to laboratories having fewer samples as compared to other labs.
