The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued a Corrigendum dated November 4, 2025, making several corrections to the previously notified Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Connectivity and General Network Access to the inter-State Transmission System) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2025 dated August 31, 2025.
The primary corrections involve standardizing terminology and clarifying the application to Renewable Power Park Developers:
- Effective Date of GNA Changed to Firm Start Date of Connectivity: In two places—Regulation 9.3.1 (Page 58) and the first proviso of Regulation 11C (1)(b) (Page 67)—the phrase “effective date of GNA” is corrected to be read as “firm Start date of Connectivity”.
- Inclusion of Renewable Power Park Developers: The title of Clause (6) of Regulation 11A (Page 66) is amended to insert the words “or Renewable power park developer” after the words “ESS (excluding PSP)”.
- Correction to Start Date Terminology: Under Regulation 11C (1)(d) (Page 68), the phrase “start date of Connectivity of ‘Y’” is corrected to be read as “firm start date of Connectivity of ‘Y’”.
- Clarity on Encashment of Bank Guarantee: In Regulation 25.1 (b-i) (Page 76), the phrase “and Conn-BG3 shall be encashed” is corrected to be read as “and Conn-BG3 shall be encashed corresponding to relinquished quantum”.
These corrections ensure greater clarity and accuracy in the regulatory provisions governing connectivity and access to the inter-State Transmission System.
