ESIC vide circular dated 03 March, 2023 has issued clarification regarding closing of Annual ESIC Accounts for the Financial year 2022-23. The monthly accounts for March 2023 should be regarded as the final accounts for the year 2022-2023 for all intents and purposes barring a few adjustments that may have to be included necessarily in the Accounts for March (Final).
Monthly accounts of March (Provisional) 2023 and March (Final) 2023 should be thoroughly checked keeping in view the instructions issued from time to time and proper classification of income and expenditue to be done accordingly.
