The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has extended the deadline for public feedback on the draft guidelines for the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana in the residential sector. An Office Memorandum to this effect was issued on April 23, 2024.
It may be recalled that the MNRE had released the draft guidelines for the scheme on April16, 2024. An initial call for comments and suggestions was open up till April 23, 2024.
In response to requests from stakeholders, the deadline for submitting feedback has been extended to April 30, 2024.
PM-Surya Ghar Yojana
The PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana initiative was launched in February 2024. It aims to install rooftop solar panels in one crore Indian homes.
