Delhi Pollution Committee Calls for E-Waste Proposals

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has issued a call for proposals from authorized e-waste recyclers to handle e-waste collected from units sealed during the enforcement drive in Mustafabad, Delhi, on 24th June 2025. The move is aimed at ensuring the legal, scientific, and environmentally sound disposal of e-waste from these premises.

📌 Key Highlights of the Proposal Invitation:

  • Who Can Apply:
    Only recyclers registered with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, and holding valid Consent to Operate (CTO) and Authorization under Hazardous Waste Management Rules from their respective SPCBs/PCCs are eligible.
  • Infrastructure Requirement:
    Applicants must possess adequate facilities for collection, transportation, dismantling, and recycling of e-waste, in compliance with CPCB norms.
  • Compliance Record:
    Applicants must have a clean compliance history — no ongoing litigation or violation cases concerning environmental laws.
  • Experience Needed:
    A demonstrable track record of handling e-waste over the last three financial years is preferable.

🗂 Mandatory Documents to be Submitted:

  1. Valid CPCB Registration as an E-Waste Recycler.
  2. Copy of CTO & Hazardous Waste Authorization or Consolidated Consent & Authorization (CCA).
  3. PAN Card and GST Registration.
  4. Details of installed capacity and quantities of e-waste handled in the last 3 years.
