The Dental Council of India (DCI) has issued a circular announcing that Dr. Abhishek Singh is the senior-most officer of the DCI office. It has also issued another circular cautioning against the cyber impersonation of Dr. Abhishek Singh.
The DCI has announced that Dr. Abhishek Singh, Joint Secretary of the DCI, has been recognized by its Executive Committee as the senior-most officer in the DCI office. Consequently, all official correspondence intended for the Secretary, Dental Council of India, should now be addressed to Dr. Abhishek Singh. This circular was issued on July 23, 2025.

Cyber Impersonation Alert Issued
In a separate but urgent circular dated July 14, 2025, the DCI issued a caution regarding a case of cyber impersonation involving Dr. Abhishek Singh. On July 5, 2025, an unknown individual misused Dr. Singh’s name and photo identity to send a deceptive message to a Member of the Dental Council of India. The suspicious message originated from mobile number +84 393046527, which is not associated with Dr. Abhishek Singh.
The DCI has confirmed that a cyber complaint has been registered with the competent authorities (Acknowledgment No. 23104240044723).
All members, officers, and associated institutions of the DCI are advised to remain vigilant and refrain from engaging with or responding to any communication (message/email/call) claiming to be from Dr. Abhishek Singh without prior verification of its authenticity.
