ESI hospitals to Organize Sexual Harassment at Workplace Prevention Week

ESIC has directed ESI hospitals to Organize Sexual Harassment at Workplace Prevention Week activities by undertaking following initiatives:

  1. Organizing various activities, which may include constituting/revamping Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) and Local Complaint Committee(LCC), in case the same has not been done so far.
  2. Organizing sensitization workshops for the employees
  3. Disposing off the pending cases before ICC & LCC, and
  4. To ensure strict compliance of each of the provision of the Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act in letters and spirit for creating a safe working environment free from sexual harassment for the working women both in formal and non formal/ organized & unorganized sectors.

All Field Units shall submit Action Taken Report to Headquarters office of ESIC latest by 12th December 2023.
