Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide circular dated 2 August, 2023 has decided to grant a final One-time permission up to 31.12.2023 to the FBOs seeking permission to use pre-printed packaging materials (PPMs) which are non-complying with the FSS (Labelling & Display) Regulation, 2020 and its amendments.
Further, the revised fee for any FBO applying for permission to use the above said PPMs shall be Rs. 30,000/- + GST (for central license) and Rs. 12,000/. + GST (for state license) to be paid through the e-payment portal- https:/lepay.fssai.gov.in.
