The State Government of Bihar vide its notification dated 1st June 2020 has extended the amnesty provided to tax defaulters, registered commercial/Goods vehicle and registered and unregistered Tractor/Trailor used for Agricultural/Commercial purposes, till 30th September 2020. Only those vehicles would avail its benefit which would be Tax defaulter till the date of publication of this notification in the Bihar Gazette.
Every registered commercial and goods carriage vehicles, which is tax defaulter, shall be given amnesty of all kinds of penalty and will be registered and regulated and the certificate case thereon shall be withdrawn, on deposit of payable tax with 30%.
Further, the tax defaulter registered and an unregistered tractor-trailer, which is used in agricultural/commercial activities, on deposit of lumpsum Amount Rs.25,000, amnesty of payable tax/penalty, whichever will be on such vehicles will be given and such vehicles will be registered or regulated and if there would be any certificate case on the said vehicles, it would be withdrawn by the department.
