The State Government of Tripura vide its notification dated 13th November 2020 has notified the procedure, and list of documents required for obtaining Registration and Enrolment under the Tripura Professions, Trades, Callings and Employment Taxation Act, 1997.
As an initiative of ease of doing business of the state and for the ease of stakeholders, the information on fees and procedure are made available on the website.
The details of the procedure are as follows:
No fees is required for filling online/offline application for registration/enrolment under Tripura Professions, Trades, Callings and Employment Taxation Act, 1997.
The applicant shall apply though online Profession Tax Web-Portal to obtain Registration/Enrolment certificate and shall provide all the necessary details as individual or others.
Once the application is submitted the Profession Tax officer may verify the details provided and may grant a certificate of Enrolment or Registration within 30 days from the date of application of receipt.
The Applicant can download the certificate of Registration from the system, once it is granted.
