Gujarat Government inaugurates and initiates several projects in The Cooperative Sector

The cooperative sector will play a crucial role in positioning India as the world’s third-largest economy in the future. The Prime Minister has embraced a new strategy of reform, perform, and transform in the cooperative sector, aiming to propel it beyond traditional business practices. Farmers will receive 50,000 without interest through the Kisan Credit Card, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly and Chairman of Banas Dairy. Chief Minister inaugurated the pilot project and various developmental initiatives of cooperative organizations at Banas Dairy, Deodar. The goal is to fulfil the concept of “Sahkar Thi Samruddhi” (Prosperity through Cooperation) put forth by Prime Minister, making the cooperative sector robust, capable, and self-sustainable. This Notification was published on 15.01.2024.

Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Banas Bovine and Breed Research Center (BBBRC) at Bhildi, a project costing 324.77 crores. He also inaugurated the newly constructed Ultra-Modern Atta Plant with a daily capacity of 50 metric tons in Badarpura, for 45 crore. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Banas Whey Protein Ultra Filtration Plant in Palanpur, with a capacity of 10,000 kg per hour. The Chief Minister also inaugurates Sanjeevani Fertilizer Products of Banas Dairy, Banas Organic Fertilizer Laboratory, and Amul Organic Products. This inclusive initiative included Banas Bank Micro ATM, Kishan Credit Card, and The Gujarat State Co. Op. Bank Ltd. pilot projects in Banaskantha and Panch Mahal districts. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel distributed Kisan credit cards to animal husbandry farmers. The Chief Minister said that North Gujarat and Banaskantha district have contributed a lot to the development of the cooperative sector. The various developmental projects undertaken by Banas Dairy and Banas Bank will become a future guideline for the entire country.
