Highlights from the State-Level Elocution Contest at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad

The Gujarat Cultural Elocution Competition, held at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, was a collaborative effort of the Rashtriya Seva Yojana, Higher Education Department, and the ‘Save Culture Save Bharat’ Foundation. The primary objective was to include the youth in safeguarding and nurturing the values of Indian culture. The state-level competition winners were honored with prizes and awards by Chief Minister of Gujarat, Minister of State for Education, the founder of the ‘Save Culture Save India Foundation. The Chief Minister elaborated that the influence of Prime Minister is profound, with each of his utterances and actions imparting new insights to all. During his recent visit to the UAE, PM conveyed a significant message concerning cultural values, highlighting India’s enduring role as a global beacon of spirituality. He emphasized that India remains a focal point for spiritual learning even today. He elaborated that Gujarat has played a pivotal role in reinforcing PM’s determination. To achieve the vision of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat,” it is imperative to fortify the cultural foundation. He emphasized that the aspiration for a “Viksit Bharat” envisioned by PM can only be realized through the progression of a “Viksit Gujarat.” The CM conveyed his conviction that a robust cultural framework will inevitably pave the way for building a “Viksit Bharat.” During the event, Minister of State addressed the importance of character building, stating that it remains the primary objective of education in India. Emphasizing its crucial role in the future, he highlighted the significance of today’s program in fostering character development.
