The Labour Employment Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department of Mizoram on 17th January 2019 released a notification. The notification was in the pursuance of the Business Reform Action Points 2019 which were released by the government of India which were in relation to the eliminations of the requirement of inspections prior to the registration under the Mizoram shops and establishment rules 2011 and to ensure that the registration is granted within one day from the date of application.
The notification states that no inspection would be undertaken by the inspectors before the registration of the business enterprise under Establishment Rules, 2011 unless some violation of the provisions of the applicable labour laws is found or a complaint regarding the same is lodged against the establishment.
The notification further states that the final certificate of registration would be granted to the applicant within the same day, if the application filed is complete in all respects.
