MOHFW extends the validity of registration certificate for import of drugs

The Ministry of Health and Family welfare on 27th July 2020 has decided to extend the validity of Registration Certificates issued in Form 41.

Based on the request from pharmaceutical companies and their associations for extension of the validity of Registration Certificate (Form-41) for six months in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, the ministry has decided that if an Registration Certificate holder under the said rules, makes an application for a fresh Registration Certificate before the expiry of the existing certificate, the existing Registration Certificate shall be valid until orders are passed on the application and shall be deemed to be valid for all purposes.

Further, this order shall remain valid for a period of six months from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
