MoHFW invites Applications for Non-Government Principal Recipients to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria

The India Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) for the Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM) has announced that it is seeking applications from organizations interested in being short-listed as Non-Government Principal Recipients. This announcement was made on 28th June, 2023.

The selected recipients will be required to submit Comprehensive Country Proposals for HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in collaboration with Government Principal Recipients to secure funding from the Global Fund for the period of April 2024 to March 2027.

Organizations interested in applying are expected to submit a proposal or concept note focusing on priority areas for HIV, Tuberculosis, and Malaria disease components. These priority areas have been developed through extensive consultations with multiple stakeholders and are available in the public domain on various websites, including wrrvrry.india-ccm.in, www.mohfw.qov.in, www.tbcindia.qov.in, www.naco.qov.in, and www.nvbdcp.qov.in. A summary of these priority areas is provided in the enclosed Application Template.

Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate their understanding of the existing gaps in combating the three diseases and propose innovative strategies and implementation models, including strengthening health systems. The screening committee of India CCM will shortlist applications based on eligibility, organizational capacity, experience, and the quality of the proposal or concept note. The shortlisted organizations must be willing to work in consortia or form partnerships with each other, acting as Principal or Sub Recipients, to address identified interventions in various geographies, sectors, and components in accordance with the national program’s guidance.

Preference will be given to Indian organizations. Interested applicants are required to submit the completed application template along with supporting documents electronically and in hard copy. The electronic copy should be sent to iccmsect-mohfw@gov.in, while the hard copy should be submitted in person or via speed post to the India CCM Secretariat office located at the 9th Floor, NACO, Chanderlok Building, 36-Janpath, New Delhi 110001 (Ph. No.-011-43509905).
