National e-Governance Division: Transforming India through Digital Empowerment

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) through a circular on 28th November, 2023 invites applications for various positions on a deputation basis. These positions are open to officers currently holding regular positions in the Central & State Government, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Autonomous Organizations, and Statutory Bodies of the Government of India, as well as the States & Union Territory Governments. The initial period of deputation will be two years, with the possibility of extension based on government instructions and the needs of NeGD.

Selected candidates for these positions will have their pay regulated as per the provisions outlined in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T) which may be amended from time to time. Other benefits will be as per NeGD norms for deputations.

Eligible officers interested in these deputation opportunities are required to submit their applications in the prescribed proforma through the proper channel to the designated authority. The deadline for submission is 10th December 2023. Applications that are not received through the proper channel and those that lack vigilance clearance/integrity certificate and attested copies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) for the last five years will not be considered. Additionally, candidates must ensure they provide a proper No Objection Certificate (NOC) in the attached format to be considered for the positions. Incomplete applications or those lacking the required documents will not be entertained, and no correspondence will be made in this regard.
