The National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA) has issued a consultation paper in June 2021 on ‘Enhancing Engagement with Stakeholders. The recommendations include suggestions dealing with Stakeholder Engagement, Communication of NFRA’s Inspection Policy, Communication and Advocacy, Medium Term Roadmap, Building Regulatory Capacity, Independence and Funding and Accountability of NFRA. NFRA will examine the recommendations and develop an action plan for implementing them in a phased manner taking into consideration their relevance to fulfilling its mandate and its time and resource constraints.
The paper is published for comments from stakeholders and the last date for receipt of the comments is 10th July 2021. The comments should be submitted in writing either by email or by post.
