NMC Directs Medical Colleges to Actively Participate in ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ Health Campaign

This “Jan Abhiyaan” is set to provide focused support and services through health camps organized at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centers, District Hospitals, and other healthcare facilities across the country.

Role of Medical Colleges and Institutions

The NMC notice outlines a clear role for medical colleges in ensuring the campaign’s success:

  • Organize Health Camps: Medical colleges and their attached hospitals are requested to organize health camps for women on their premises.
  • Assist State/UT Camps: They are also asked to assist health camps being conducted by states and Union Territories in their vicinity.
  • Digital Reporting: All participating institutions must designate a Nodal Officer to upload daily activities, including high-quality photographs and videos, to a designated portal.
  • Action Plan Submission: An Action Plan of proposed daily activities must be submitted via a Google Form, which is also being used to collect the details of the designated Nodal Officers.

Webinar for Nodal Officers

To ensure effective coordination, a webinar has been scheduled for September 15, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. The Chairman of the NMC is set to preside over the webinar. All designated Nodal Officers for the “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” have been requested to attend. The link to attend the webinar will be shared in due course.
