The National Medical Commission vide circular dated 10th August, 2022 has directed institutions of medical education to take necessary steps to ensure the mental health and social well being of post graduate medical students. An actions taken report on issues like suicides, gender bias, incidence of dishonor to decency of women etc. and practices being followed in the institution the check these issues shall be provided to National Medical Commission on a regular basis by all institutions of medical education.
