The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice on the circulation of fake letters regarding National Exist Test (NET). This notification was issued on 7th June, 2023.
The Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) has stated that a fake letter under the signature of its director has been circulating on social media. This fake letter was dated 7th June, 2023.
Hence, the UGMEB emphatically states that it has not issued any such letter dated 7th June, 2023, confirming the upcoming NET.
All stakeholders are requested to note that important letters, circulars and public notices are posted on the NMC website. Hence the genuineness of letters, circulars and public notices can always be verified from the website. Reliance should be placed only upon those letters, circulars and public notices available on the NMC website.
NMC will initiate action against such fake messages in social media under its relevant laws.
