The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges and institutions to immediately submit details of students admitted to Super Specialty (SS) medical courses for the Academic Year 2024-25 through NEET SS-2024 using its online Admission Monitoring Portal.
The Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) issued a public notice on October 1, 2025, followed by an official communication from the NMC Secretary on October 2, 2025, making the submission mandatory for all concerned institutions.
Submission Deadline and Process
The online Admission Monitoring Portal is open and will remain accessible until October 15, 2025.
Institutions must use their already existing unique login ID and credentials to access the portal via the “COLLEGE LOGIN” section of the NMC website (www.nmc.org.in).
The data submitted through this portal will be the only data used for monitoring student admissions for the current academic year; institutions need not send a hardcopy of the admission details.
The Directorate of Medical Education of all States/UTs are also required to submit admission details for their respective states/UTs via email within two weeks of the last date of admission.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
The NMC stressed the importance of strict adherence to merit and transparent admission practices as required by its regulations and judicial decisions.
- Any violation in admission procedure will lead to the discharge of the concerned students from the courses and appropriate action against the concerned Medical College/Institution.
- The onus of furnishing true, correct, and authentic information rests upon the college.
- The names of students whose details are not filled in by the colleges/institutes within the deadline will not be displayed on the NMC’s website.
In case of any difficulty logging in or accessing the portal, institutions are advised to send an email to support.pgmonitoring@nmc.org.in with the subject line “Difficulty in logging in.”
