The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice expressing serious concern over discrepancies in the details of students admitted for the MBBS course for the academic year 2024-25. The NMC has identified several wrong entries made by medical colleges and institutions on its portal. This public notice was issued on August 4, 2025.
The notice is a follow-up to a public notice from May 30, 2025, which had requested all concerned colleges and students to verify the list of admitted students on the NMC’s student admission portal.
The NMC has now specifically pointed out numerous wrong entries, including those at serial numbers 65155, 38414, and 30111, among a long list of others. The Commission is taking this negligence seriously and has once again requested all medical colleges and institutions to re-check the details of admitted students for the 2024-25 academic year.
If any discrepancies are found, they must be reported to support.ugmonitoring@nmc.org.in by August 11, 2025.
The NMC has also advised students whose names are not reflected on the list to urgently contact their concerned medical college, Directorate of Medical Education, or Counselling Authority.
