The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has issued an order to fix the retail prices for 28 specific drug formulations under the powers conferred by the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 (DPCO, 2013). This order, dated November 4, 2025, sets the maximum retail price, exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), for each formulation manufactured by the specified companies.
The formulations covered primarily include combination therapies for chronic conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, and common medications for pain/fever and acid reflux.

Compliance and Implementation
The order is applicable only to the individual manufacturer or marketer who applied for the price fixation/revision by submitting Form-I under the DPCO, 2013.
- The specified retail price in column (6) of the table is exclusive of GST. Manufacturers may add GST only if it has been actually paid or is payable to the Government.
- Manufacturers must issue a price list in Form-V from the date of the notification, submitting it to the NPPA through the Integrated Pharmaceutical Database Management System (IPDMS) and providing copies to the State Drug Controller and dealers.
- Dealers and retailers are required to display the price list and any supplementary price list conspicuously at their business premises.
- Any non-compliance with the fixed retail price will make the concerned manufacturer or marketing company liable to deposit the overcharged amount along with interest under the provisions of the DPCO, 2013.
The price order supersedes any prior order(s) fixing the retail price of the specified formulation, strength, and manufacturer/marketing company.
