Revised the list of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Boards/Export Development Authorities under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023

Director General of Foreign Trade on 23rd June, 2023 has revised the list of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Boards/Export Development Authorities under the Foreign Trade Policy 2023. The Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices is introduced with head office in Greater Noida and list of products covered under their jurisdiction is provided.

Engineering Export Promotion Council is renamed as EEPC INDIA with head office in Kolkata. The following products are covered under their jurisdiction:

1. Machineries and equipment
2. Motor Vehicles
3. Automobile Components
4. Bicycles, Bicycle Components and Accessories
5. Two Wheelers and Three Wheelers
6. Internal Combustion Engines, Compressors and parts thereof
7. Pumps – all types
8. Electric and Home Appliances
9. Hand and Machine Tools
10. Prime Iron & Steel and Products Thereof
11. Non-ferrous Metals and Products Thereof
12. Railway Rolling Stock and Components
13. Builders Hardware
14. Project Exports.
15. Mica & other Mineral based products.
16. Miscellaneous Manufacturers Engineering Products not specified elsewhere.
