New Process for Verification of Additional Medical Qualifications in India

Previously, NMC verified qualifications directly with issuing institutions. However, NBEMS has implemented a new online system called the “Credential Verification Online Portal (CVOP)” to streamline this process. The online CVOP system is expected to improve the efficiency and transparency of the verification process for medical practitioners seeking NMC’s AQ certificates.

NMC Warns Against Misleading Communications

The NMC has clarified that only communications formally published on its official website and Twitter handle (@NMC_BHARAT) are considered authentic and enforceable. Any other communications circulating in the public domain, including social media, should be treated with caution and verified through official channels.

NEET-PG 2025 Exam Tentatively Scheduled for June 15th

The National Medical Commission’s Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) has announced a tentative date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate Medical Courses (NEET-PG) 2025 as June 15, 2025. The PGMEB has also specified that the internship completion date for eligible candidates will be July 31, 2025.

Second Special Stray Vacancy Round Announced for BDS & B.Sc Nursing Seats

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) have announced a Second Special Stray Vacancy Round for filling vacant BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) Nursing seats across India. This round comes after the completion of the Special Stray Vacancy Round held in November and the ongoing State Counselling rounds.

NMC Invites Applications for New Medical Colleges and Seat Increases

The application portal will be open from December 5, 2024, to January 4, 2025. NMC Extends Deadline for MBBS Admission Data Submission Again

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the deadline for medical colleges to submit details of first-year MBBS students admitted for the academic year 2024-25. The new deadline is December 10, 2024. This notice was issued on November 22, 2024.
