The Ministry of Labour and Employment vide notification dated the 29th October, 2020 has issued the Draft Industrial Relation (Central) Rules, 2020 to implement the Industrial Relations Code, 2020. The Rules provides mechanism for resolution of Industrial disputes and also for constitution of Bi-Party forums. It also lays down the norms for strikes, lockouts, Lay-Off, Retrenchment and Closure.
Objections and suggestions, if any, shall be sent to sanjeev.dom@nic.in within 30 days of notification.
