The Excise and Taxation Department of the Government of Himachal Pradesh has issued an order dated 16th July, 2020, exempting the payment of goods tax on trucks of other States that enter the territory of Himachal Pradesh.
This exemption is applicable only in respect of those trucks entering the State of Himachal Pradesh for the purpose of transportation of apples and potatoes out of the State.
The said order is effective from the period of 16th July, 2020 till 31st October, 2020.
