The State Government of Karnataka vide its notification dated 13th May 2021 has published the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation and Development) (Amendment) Rules, 2021 to further amend the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017.
The Amendment is brought under rule 3 which deals with information and documents to be furnished by the promoter for registration of projects in which the promoter shall pay a registration fee at the time of application, however, in case of affordable housing in partnership [A.H.P.] projects under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), no registration fee shall be paid.
