The Ministry of Commerce and Industry vide its Trade Notice dated 31st March, 2020 has extended the validity of Registration cum Membership Certificate (RCMC) till 30th day of September, 2020.
Any person applying for any authorization to import/ export or any benefit or concession under Foreign Trade Policy is required to take a Registration cum Membership Certificate (RCMC). Due to COVID-19, exporters may find it difficult to get re-validations of their RCMCs from their respective Export Promotion Councils (EPCs). Hence, it has been decided that Regional Authorities (RAs) of DGFT will not insist on valid RCMC for any incentive/authorizations from the applicants in cases where the RCMCs has expired on or before 31st March, 2020 till 30th September, 2020.
