The Government of Maharashtra vide notification dated June 22, 2020 has extended the date for paying taxes and filing returns under Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Calling and Employments Act, 1975 to 31st July 2020.
As per the notification, the employers who could not pay taxes or upload returns for any period up to the month of June 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic shall file the same on or before 31 July 2020.
