The Government of Tripura vide notification dated 30 January, 2021 has issued has issued Tripura Shops and Establishments (Fifth Amendment) Ordinance, 2021. The Amendment provides that the register of employees kept as per the requirement under the act shall be used for purposes under any law in force. It also empowers the inspector appointed under the act to inspect trade license issued by the competent authority during all reasonable hours.
These changes are aimed at enhancing ease of use, improving transparency, and reducing complexity for participants in India’s debt market.
