“World Tamils Diaspora Day 2024” is scheduled to be held on January 12, 2024, at Chennai Trade Centre under the leadership of Chief Minister. Awarding by the hands of the Chief Minister to the persons who excel in Tamil literature, Education, Social Development, Women, Business, Science & Technology ,Sports and Medicine. This Notification was published on the date of 14.12.2023.
The event, along with the various Art and cultural programmed, sessions and special exhibitions, are planned to be held in the Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam. Hence, Tamils who excelling in the eight fields of Tamil literature, education, social development, women, business, science & technology, sports, and medicine in foreign countries can send the applications through our Department website (https://nrtamils.tn.gov.in/en/).
