Global Ayurveda Festival to be organized in Thiruvananthapuram from 1st to 5th December

The fair is being organized along with the Global Ayurveda Festival and Arogya Expo. The Ayush Minister urged the practitioners and stakeholders in the Ayush sector to embrace the spirit of innovation and collaboration and assured that the government will also facilitate those willing to invest in other countries in the Ayush Sector. He said that developing entrepreneurship in Ayush Sector is a priority area identified by the government of India and there is huge potential and scope for young entrepreneurs to establish startups in Ayush Sector.

Designated entities shall apply for SCORES Authentication by end of financial year

As per the circular designated entities were required to apply for SCORES Authentication and/or for Application Programming Interface (API) integration with SCORES within such period so as to ensure that Designated Bodies can comply with provisions of the said circular by December 04, 2023 and onwards. It has been decided to extend the effective date of implementation of above said provisions to April 01, 2024.

NSE vide circular dated November 29, 2023 has announced Introduction of new functionalities in Penalty. These features are developed to assist members in understanding and adhering to various compliance requirements of the Exchange.

Withdrawal of ₹2000 Denomination Banknotes- status update

The ₹2000 banknotes continue to be legal tender. The facility for exchange of the ₹2000 banknotes is available at the 19 Issue Offices of the Reserve Bank (RBI Issue Offices)1 from May 19, 2023. From October 09, 2023, RBI Issue Offices, in addition to exchanging ₹2000 denomination banknotes across the counters, are also accepting ₹2000 banknotes from individuals / entities for deposit to their bank accounts. Further, members of the public from within the country can send ₹2000 banknotes through India Post from any post office in the country, to any of the RBI Issue Offices for credit to their bank accounts in India.

Terms and Conditions for Assignment of Forest Land on Lease

The Central Government, has issued a comprehensive order specifying terms and conditions for the assignment of forest land on lease to government and private entities. This order was issued under Van (Sanrakshan Evam Samvardhan), Adhiniyam, 1980. The order was issued on November 29, 2023.
