IRDAI de-notifies insurance tariffs

It is clarified that no insurer shall at any time withdraw or discourage the use of or decline to offer to any customer any of the tariff products which have been in existence prior to this notification. It is hereby further notified that effective 01.04.2024, the coverage of risks coming within the scope of the denotified tariffs shall be subject to the IRDAI (Insurance Products) Regulations, 2024 and Master Circular (Guidelines) on products and procedures in general insurance business.

New Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate To Be Implemented

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has reiterated the implementation of the Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate. From 30th June 2024 onwards, post-import clearance will be issued only to imported consignments of milk and milk products that are accompanied by the Integrated Veterinary Health Certificate.

FSSAI has urged state authorities to keep strict vigil in monitoring the manufacturing and sale of milk-related products throughout the festive period. Frequent enforcement and surveillance activities, including the deployment of Food Safety on Wheels (FSW) units where available, are being emphasized in key markets.

NMC Sends More Communications For New PG Medical Courses And Seat Increase

The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) has issued communications for an additional 218 online applications by medical institutions for starting new PG courses or increasing seats. MARB has sent these communications to the respective Medical Institutions/Colleges via email. Institutions are urged to take necessary action within the given timeline.
