Haryana Government Reduces Shop Registration Timeline to One Day

The Government of Haryana, through the General Administration Department (Administrative Reforms Branch), has issued a notification amending the service timeline for registration under the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 (Punjab Act 15 of 1958).

The amendment has been made in exercise of powers under Section 3(1) and (2) of the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014, following recommendations from the Haryana Right to Service Commission.

Key Amendment

As per Notification No. 7/31/2014-3AR dated 17th October 2025, the time limit for processing Shop Registration applications has been reduced to one (01) day.

“Shop Registration under Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 — 01 Day”
