The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has issued an official memorandum notifying all stakeholders about the creation of a new, dedicated email ID for matters related to ‘On Account’ Payment (OAP) at ESIC Headquarters.
This move aims to streamline communication, ensure faster response times, and centralize all OAP-related correspondence under one official channel.
According to the notification, the newly created email ID—oap-hq@esic.gov.in—will now serve as the exclusive point of contact for all issues, queries, and submissions pertaining to On-Account Payments handled by ESIC Headquarters.
Centralised Communication for Better Efficiency
ESIC highlighted that the introduction of a designated email channel will help:
- Improve efficiency in processing OAP-related requests
- Avoid delays caused by scattered correspondence
- Enhance clarity and transparency in communication
- Maintain proper records and tracking of all OAP submissions
By consolidating communication, ESIC aims to simplify workflows for employers, ESIC field offices, beneficiaries, and internal departments dealing with payment adjustments.
Mandatory Use of the New Email ID
The notification clearly instructs that all matters or issues concerning OAP must be communicated only through the newly activated email ID. Any correspondence sent to previous emails or alternate channels may not be processed, ensuring uniformity in handling all requests.
The announcement reflects ESIC’s ongoing efforts to modernize administrative processes and strengthen digital engagement with stakeholders across the country.
