The Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance on 2nd August, 2022 has issued a notification further amending the principal notification published on 19th July, 2022 regarding Special Additional Excise Duty leviable on production of Petroleum Crude and export of Aviation Turbine Fuel.
The notification seeks to amend the rate of production of petroleum crude from Rs. 17,000 per tonne to Rs. 17,750 per tonne. Additionally, the notification exempts any duty on the export of Aviation Turbine Fuel.
The notification shall come into force on 3rd August, 2022.
