The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board vide circular dated 17.04.2020, has relaxed requirements for manufacturing/formulation of Hydroxychloroquine or its intermediates in bulk / formulation activity in the state of Andhra Pradesh to combat the COVID 19 outbreak.
Any existing bulk drug unit can start Hydroxychloroquine or its intermediates in bulk / formulation activity immediately. The industry shall ensure that total production capacity including Hydroxychloroquine in bulk shall not exceed the consented production capacity of existing unit. Similarly pollution load shall not exceed existing permitted quantity.
