The Assam Pollution Control Board (PCB) vide its notification dated 21st February, 2020, has notified the following existing, upcoming and proposed industrial units or processes or establishments to obtain prior “Consent to establish” and “Consent to operate” under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act,1974 (“Water Act”) and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (“Air Act”), within 30 days from the date of this notification (i.e. by March 22, 2020) from the Pollution Control Board.
The followings are units for whom this notice is applicable:-
- Industries;
- Nursing home, Clinic, Diagnostic center, Dental Clinic;
- Hotel, Restaurant, Dhaba, Marriage Hall, Bakery;
- Automobile Servicing Stations;
- Infrastructure Development Project;
