It is announced for general information that during the year
2022-23, accumulations at the credit of subscribers to the General Provident Fund and other similar funds shall carry interest at the rate of 7.1 % with effect from. 1″ July 2022 to 30th September, 2022.

Ministry of Heavy Industries launches Automated Online Data Transfer for capturing critical data related to Domestic Value Addition (DVA) from the PLI applicant’s ERP system to PLI Auto Portal.
The scheme incentivizes only those eligible AAT products for which minimum 50% Domestic Value Addition (DVA) is achieved. Pre-approved eligible product with minimum 50% domestic value addition will be eligible for incentive under this scheme. This criterion shall reduce imports from outside India, enable deep localization for AAT productsin India and enable Indian Automotive Industry to important player of global supply chain.
RBI notifies amendments to Prudential Guidelines on Bilateral netting of qualified financial contracts.
For Credit Default Swaps where the bank is the protection seller and that are outside netting and margin agreements, the exposure may be capped to the amount of premium unpaid. Banks have the option to remove such credit derivatives from their legal netting sets in order to apply the cap.
NMC extends the last date of receipt of application for the UG MBBS courses to 31st August 2022.

IRDAI notifies the applicability of service tax/GST on services provided by IRDAI to Insurance intermediaries.
all the insurance intermediaries are directed to submit a copy of their GST registration certificate bearing the Goods and Services Tax Identification Number to the Authority on the e-mail ID, kanthishri@irdai.gov.in and accounts@irdai.gov.in on or before 20th August, 2022 for the purpose of including the same in the invoices generated by the Authority in respect of the fee collection.
NMC issues notification on online filing of information relating to admissions made in medical colleges for 1st year MBBS degree for the Academic year 2021-2022.

DGFT notifies Amendment in minimum registration time period of Non-Ferrous Metal Import Monitoring System.
The importer shall apply for registration before the arrival of import consignment. Registration can be applied not earlier than 60th day before the expected date of arrival. The automatic number thus granted shall remain valid for a period of 75 days.
