Public Education and Labor Department Minister said that the school authorities should ensure drinking water for the students who cannot bring drinking water. The minister was speaking at the state-level inauguration of the water bell program, which allows breaks for drinking water in schools in the face of increasing heat, at, Thiruvananthapuram.

The Office of Principal Accountant General Goa has informed that to address the gap in the availability of skilled accountants at the Local Government (LG) level nationwide, the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAGI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to formulate two short-term courses: Certificate course for Accountants of Panchayats and Certificate course for Accountants of Municipal Bodies.

Highlights from the State-Level Elocution Contest at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad
The Gujarat Cultural Elocution Competition, held at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, was a collaborative effort of the Rashtriya Seva Yojana, Higher Education Department, and the ‘Save Culture Save Bharat’ Foundation. The primary objective was to include the youth in safeguarding and nurturing the values of Indian culture. The state-level competition winners were honored with prizes and awards by Chief Minister of Gujarat, Minister of State for Education, the founder of the ‘Save Culture Save India Foundation.
Camps for Providing Students Loan
Tamil Nadu Government and banks are jointly conducting education loan camps to benefit students in all districts of Tamil Nadu. In view of this, a special camp for huge educational debt was held in Chennai. People can register for this camp through e-service center.

“Deadline Extended: Opportunity for Regularization of Unapproved Layouts and Plots”
The Government of Tamil Nadu, through the Housing and Urban Development Department, has issued Government Order (Ms) No. 118, extending the deadline until February 29, 2024, for the regularization of unapproved layouts and plots. This applies to plots sold and registered on or before October 20, 2016, under the Regularization of Unapproved Plots and Layouts, 2017 rules, with no alterations to the aforementioned rules. Interested parties are encouraged to apply under this scheme by registering their applications at www.tnlayoutreg.in.
