Director General of Foreign Trade in its Trade Notice dated 28th April 2020 has issued a clarification regarding application for free sale and commerce certificates.
Due to the prevailing Covid-19 lockdown, there has been a delay in issuance of free sale and commerce certificates. Therefore it has been advised that the Trade and Industry shall send their applications for grant of Free sale and Commerce Certificates at the official email ID of the concerned Regional Authority (RA) as per the format given in ANF 2H and the fee payment needs to be done through the e-MPS system.
Further, the regional authorities shall take cognizance of the applications for free sale and commerce certificates received in their official email id without asking for the hard copy of the application and issue the certificate through mail and also any deficiency letter may be sent through email.
